What are the implications of changing the name of an appointment on existing clients

Hi - I’m trying to simplify my practice and want to change the name of an appointment to do this. What happens to past appointments booked under any of the previous appointment types if I do?
I’m hoping they will just remain as they were originally booked and I can just archive them for the future? Thanks for any help x

Hey @Moorland_Canine I’m afraid if you change the name of an appointment type it will change all instances of that appointment type in your calendar past and future.

Thanks for your reply Matt - that was my concern!
I will try and create a new appointment and maybe remove the redundant types from the automatic booking - then at least new clients can’t see them.
