Email address gets ignored in online bookings

We have had a lot of cases of people inputting their new email address when booking online only for it to be ignored with regards to confirmation emails. It doesn’t even store it as a second email address, like it does with mobile numbers. It would be great if people could receive a confirmation to the email address that they have just typed in, or at least add it as a 2nd email address so an email gets sent to both. As it is, we have absolutely no way of knowing that the patient has even entered a new email address. It would be really handy to be able to add a 2nd email address actually, as some of our patients have 2 or 3 carers it would be nice to send each of them a reminder as they don’t always pass messages on when they change over.
