Oh me oh my, it’s Friday! And it’s time for Cliniko This Week! Let’s get right into the good stuff, shall we?
- We changed the word “list” to “audience” anywhere it was used in reference to Mailchimp. This is because Mailchimp recently updated their terminology, and it would have been awkward if we didn’t match what they were using.
- If you have auto top-up enabled for SMS purchases, the automatic top-up part actually gets disabled if the transaction fails—however, we hadn’t been doing a very good job of alerting people to this fact. We’ve made an addition to the email that goes out to you if that charge fails, so that you can update your settings!
- We’ve made some behind-the-scenes improvements to the tools that are used to process “background jobs”—basically, this means that certain automated processes, like data imports and appointment reminders, will run even faster than before!
- Some general bug fixes have taken place, as well. If you were using Chrome on a smaller screen, picking a date on the calendar wasn’t working quite so well, and appointment reminder templates weren’t saving correctly on iOS devices!
You may have also noticed that Cliniko got a bit of a colour change! The main website (www.cliniko.com) underwent a considerable facelift (more on that here), and we matched the colours within Cliniko to the theme of the website.
And…that’s a wrap. Have a fantabulous weekend, and catch you on the flip side!
