We would love to be able to have our receptionists make notes under clients notes if they call to communicate some information with us e.g. Joseph’s mum called to inform that they will be taking a break from therapy for 6 weeks.
Yes. This would be useful. Receptionists have to be able to document telephone conversations or any advice given. We have made our receptionists practitioners (without a diary) to allow this and a special treatment notes form called client interaction with fields to say what happened and some tick boxes of follow up is needed etc.
Though we do this because I have spare capacity in my subscription.
We use recalls for this and have an ‘Admin’ recall set at 0 days. It’s not ideal though bc things are in two separate spaces.
